Sunrise Cottage is located on the Grenadine island of Bequia, nine miles south of St. Vincent, between the fishing village of Paget Farm and the whale watching point of La Pompe - in the middle of paradise!
A two bedroom, single bath residence, Sunrise Cottage is perfect for short or long term rentals for up to 4 people. Our rates are very reasonable, and the views from the verandah are priceless with an unobstructed vista of Mustique, the island of the rich and famous, as well as the unpopulated islands of Petit Nevis and Ile a Quatre. You can watch the sailboats and fishermen as they pass by. We offer you such a relaxing visit at Sunrise Cottage that you may feel like staying for months and, at our rates, anyone would be able to afford to do just that!
Sunrise Cottage is cooled by constant trade winds and has ceiling fans so no A/C is necessary. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, tea maker, coffee maker, blender (for those cool island drinks), stove and microwave oven. There is a double bed in each of the two bedrooms as well as ample closet space. The living area has a television and stereo for your entertainment. The verandah is a perfect place to dine al fresco. Internet access is available through the many internet cafes on the island. Sunrise Cottage is one of very few rentals on the island to be graced with views of both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The verandah is shaded most of the day and there is a patio just steps above the cottage for sunning. The area is breezy, peaceful, and quiet, with views that go on forever.
Your landlord resides next door and is happy to provide island information. You'll find him very helpful. If you'd like to leave the driving to us we also operate a taxi and island tour service. Sea and Land Tours as well as rental cars can also be arranged. Let us meet all your island needs; you won't be disappointed! |

Getting to Bequia has always been a part of its charm. No large cruise ships, or jets connect Bequia with the rest of the world. This has preserved Bequia as an example of the "Original Caribbean". With a size of approximately 7 square miles and around 5,000 inhabitants, it's the ideal island getaway.
Transportation options are on small scheduled or charter aircraft, local ferries, and private or chartered yachts. Bequia, being just a bit off the beaten path, gives the traveler a chance to experience what the Caribbean once was, with its lack of crowds, casinos or high rises, and its friendly people and unspoiled natural beauty. It's likely you'll make many new friends, both local and from far off places, that share something in common; a love of nature and a love for Bequia.

PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
Except for nationals of Canada, UK and the USA, all visitors must have valid passports. US visitors will need a passport to reenter the US. All visitors must have a return or ongoing ticket. Visas are not required.
US - Caribbean passport New schedule for implementation announced. The United States is implementing new rules that would require Americans to show passports as of January 2007 - Requirement applied to all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. |
